really enjoyed Your Fat. It's not like most
health books where they tell you what to
do and how much you "have" to
do it. It's the truth and you've laid it
out in this book.
The thing I really liked most was some
of the frightning humor you used. It has
really motivated me to becoming a more healthful
person and not so much of a skinnier one.
Some of the stuff you used was very natural
and very easy for me.
Most books out there would say, "now
go to the store and BUY a ton of food"
and you stuck with the basics of just eat
what the earth provides you. The scary thing
is is that this world has changed into a
fast food nation and you were right about
how there is an endless suply of food out
there and we will not starve.
It really hit me when I read the suggestion
about waking up and just eating something
to give my body fuel. I know that breakfast
is the most important meal of the day, but
I look back at yesterday, last week, last
month for the past six years or so and I
said to myself "no wonder my body feels
so weak". When I acted on that suggestion
alone I felt 10 times better in the morning
than I normally do.
It goes the same with all the suggestions
I've tried out. I've done small proportions
and chewed food, etc. and now when I eat
I feel fuller faster. I can feel a change
set in my body. It's so easy to fall back
into bad habits, but with your book it motivates
me to get back on track. Thank you so much
