I was hoping this book had a different approach, but it is just the standard fare of diet books – i.e. eat less, more veggies etc. Nothing earth-shattering.

Dude (or Dudette), I’d love to tell you that there is a quicker and easier way to manage body fat that is as safe and as healthy as simply getting back to sound nutrition, but there is not. Consider that the most popular and effective diets going around right now – Atkins, South Beach, Macrobiotics, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc. –  all follow the principles of YOUR FAT in their own way.
Every single one.
But the key to really keeping the fat off in the long run is understanding what you are doing and not just following some prescribed menu blindly. This is the true beauty of YOUR FAT. It doesn’t just teach you how to get rid of it. It teaches you how to get rid of it for good.
